Easter Egg Hunt & Children’s Activities Saturday 4th April

We are spoilt for choice with our Easter Children’s activities at both Colmworth and Keysoe on Saturday 4th April.  Please join in whichever activity is most convenient to you.

 

9.30am – 11.30am St Denys Colmworth

Join us at St Deny’s Church Colmworth for a morning of fun family activities including decorating eggs, icing biscuits, making stained-glass windows and much more.  Children and Families Welcome.  There is no charge for this activity. (poster attached)

 

10am – 12pm St Mary’s Keysoe

Join us at St Mary’s Keysoe for children’s crafts, Easter egg hunt and Easter story event with refreshments. Children and Families Welcome.  There is no charge for this activity.

 

Easter Monday Pilgrimage – Monday 6th April

Join hundreds of people from across the diocese and beyond journeying together to St Albans Cathedral for an Easter Celebration.

Procession 2.30pm, Service 3pm, At Albans Cathedral www.emp.stalbansdiocese.org 

 

Pilgrims' Friend Society 'Walk and Talk' event at Colmworth on Monday 4th May

A leisurely afternoon circular walk in North Bedfordshire incorporating the village churches of Bolnhurst and Colmworth followed by light refreshments and a talk on the unconventional 19th century evangelical Anglican clergyman Rev. Timothy Matthews, Colmworth Church a former curate in the two villages.  Meet at Colmworth Village Hall MK44 2JX at 1.45 pm (Free Car Parking available there) Refreshments will be served at approx. 5.00 pm at St Denys Parish Church Colmworth MK44 2JU to be followed at 5.45 pm by the talk Anyone not wishing to walk will be welcome to join us at Colmworth Church for refreshments and the talk.

Bible & Prayer Group every Thursday afternoon at 1.30pm-2.30pm  “Sharing Faith Together” at Ravensden  Tea & biscuits from 1.00pm. Contact: revtimwilson@wcrchurches.org


Wilden ‘Cuppa at the Church’ every Wednesday 10am – 12noon

Do pop along for Coffee, cake and a chat.


Ravensden Village Hall Community Cuppa, Tuesday 7th April 2pm - 4pm  (1st Tuesday of month) Entrance £3.00 includes tea and cake.

 

Colmworth Coffee Stop  in Church 10:30am to 12 noon 1st & 15th April (usually 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month.)

Colmworth  Community Lunch in Church - Friday 17th April at 12.30pm.  (3rd Friday of month) £7.50. Please advise Kate Abrahams (01234 378132) or Wendy Jephcote (01234 376277) if you would like to join.


Keysoe Chequers Pub Men’s Group (TMG)  meets on Thursday 18th April 7.30pm - 9.30pm  Time out for a pint and a sausage roll. All men from our churches and others welcome. Contact Stephen Selley ( 07722 589896) or Rev Tim Wilson (07808 865716)

Foodbank – Donations very welcome at St. Nicholas Church Wilden Packets, jars or tins of food for the Foodbank always gratefully received Porch open on Wednesday mornings and at other times of services.
