Colmworth Church Coffee Stop 6th & 20th March 10:30am to 12noon (as usual on  1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month.)

 

Wilden ‘Tea at the Church’ every Wednesday 10am – 12noon.  Come and join us and meet the neighbours.  Preceded by a short said service of Morning Prayer at 9.15am every Wednesday.

 

Ravensden Village Hall Community Cuppa Tuesday 5th March from 2.00-4.00pm (as usual on 1st Tuesday of the month).  Entrance £2.00 includes tea and cake. This month we have a visitor with a dog that helps disabled people. Everyone is welcome.

 

Colmworth Church Community Lunch - Friday 15th March at 12.30pm. Please advise Kate (378132) or Wendy (376277) if you would like to join us and any dietary requirements. Enjoy friendship and a good lunch.

 

Keysoe Chequers Pub - Men’s Group - Thursday 14th March at 7.30-9.30pm.  Time out for a pint and sausage roll. All men from all our 5 churches and others welcome.  Come and join us!  Contact Doug:01234376556 or Tim: 07808 865716.

 

Bishop of St Albans Open Garden 3rd & 10th March.  See the snowdrops in two acres of garden - an oasis in central St Albans.  Entrance £5 adults (children free).  Dogs on leads welcome.

 

Half Cut Theatre Colmworth Church Monday 25th March 7pm – ‘The Canterbury Tales’ (Posters on display).

 

Bolnhurst School House Coffee morning and book browse on Saturday 9th March.

Lent Courses

This year we have two courses on offer during Lent, do join us for one of them:


 “Magnificent Jesus”

Prepare for Easter by considering how the magnificent Son of God quenches our spiritual thirst and rescues us from emptiness, darkness, hopelessness, guilt and even death!

Tuesdays at Ravensden Church Vestry We meet at 2pm for tea or coffee with discussion from 2.30– 3.30pm 20th & 27th February; 12th, 19th & 26th March (no meeting 5th March)

 

 “Glimpses of God”

Hope for today’s world Thursdays at The Chequers, Keysoe, MK44 2HR

We meet at 12.30 to share an optional pub lunch, with discussion from 1.30pm 22nd & 29th February; 7th, 14th & 21st March
