Notices


Colmworth Church Coffee Stop 10:30am to 12 noon on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays. Come along and meet friends and neighbours. All welcome. The Church is open most days for private prayer.


“Tea at the Church” every Wednesday continues at Wilden Church 9am – 11am. A moment for yourself and with others.


Colmworth Community Lunches. Lunch on will be held on 20th October at 12.30pm in Church. Please let Kate (378132) or Wendy (376277) know if you would like to join us and any dietary requirements.


The Men’s Group (TMG) will be meeting on the 12th October at 7.30- 9.30pm at The Chequers Pub, Keysoe. Time out for a pint and sausage roll. Come and join us. Contact Doug:01234376556 or Tim: 07808865716.


Coffee Morning and Book Browse at Bolnhurst Old School on 28th October at 10.30am. All welcome.


Food Bank: Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far to the Bedford Foodbank.. However this service is in constant demand and donations can be left in the porch of St Nicholas Church, Wilsden on a Wednesday morning between 9am and 11am when you can also enjoy a cuppa and cake. On a Sunday the porch will be open for donations during service times (please see our website (WCRChurches.org) or Newsletter for these details. Donations can also be left in the porch at 1 Manor Close Wilden at any time.


KEYSOE W.I. are holding a Christmas Fair in Keysoe Village Hall on November 18th opening to the public at 2pm with a variety of stalls. If anyone would like a stall for a fee of £10. please contact Penny Heming on 01234 378878.


Ravensden village get together. Saturday 21st October from 10 o'clock to 2 pm. An enlarged help out in the village followed by a soup and roll lunch in the village hall. More details closer to the date. A voluntary donation of £5 for the lunch will go towards the upkeep of our village church. Contact Chris at thebends@btinternet.com for details


RAVENSDEN: Horse Racing Night. Real Horses. Interactive. Not on a screen! Ravensden Village Hall, 28th October. Doors open 7.00 pm prompt. First race 7.40pm.All profits to Marie Curie and Diabetes UK. Tickets strictly limited to 60 people. £12.00 entry to include fish, chicken or pasty and chips.
