We are so encouraged as our Deanery of Sharnbrook (30 Villages including our own 5) to have been awarded a Grant of £40,000 over 3 years from the Diocesan Mission Initiative Fund for our continuing and growing work with ‘CYPF’ across our very rural scattered small communities.  One of the National Church’s main priorities is to reach out to and welcome in Children, Young People and Families, who sadly are a decreasing part of our church life.  And yet I write in Remembrance-tide when we give thanks at All Saints and All Souls- tide and remember those who died especially in WW1 and 2.  This is predominantly a time when older folk gather to remember, but its also very special when the young and old gather together.  As well as at our Acts of Remembrance on Sunday 8th November, our 3 Schools mark the 11am Silence on Wednesday 11th November  and welcome all to join them, especially in Ravensden Churchyard and the War Memorial inside St Nicholas Church Wilden.
