Blog: October 2026 - I Cannot Thank You Enough

Have you ever said this or heard it said to others?  It’s so true!  ‘Thank you’ is such an important thing to say and you can never say it too often or too many times.  Better to say it twice than not at all!  Harvest Festival is often called ‘Harvest Thanksgiving’, with the bountiful produce moving us to say ‘thank You’ to God as well as to our farmers and those who shop, provide and cook for us. But as the famous hymn refrain says, ‘Then thank the Lord, Oh thank the Lord for all His LOVE’ (my emphasis).  We do not just thank God for all He provides us to eat, but for all He is as ‘God is Love’, shown supremely in His gift of His Son Jesus to us.  This Harvest please join us in giving thanks not just for all our food, but for all God gives us in His love.  We can never thank the Lord too many times for this.
