Blog: February 2026 - Ash Wednesday &Lent

This year Easter is quite early once again (5^th April), so 40 days before Ash Wednesday falls on 18^th February during ½ term week.  A good opportunity to examine our own personal faith and walk with Jesus.  We can always acknowledge our failings and weaknesses, and know of God’s forgiveness (‘Shriven’ on Shrove Tuesday).  Maybe make time for our Thursday lunchtime Lent Groups at Keysoe or our Thursday afternoon Bible Group at Ravensden?  Do join as at our Ash Wednesday Communion Services with ‘Ashing’ at 11am at Keysoe and 7:30pm at Ravensden on 18^th February.  More details in the Newsletter.
